We have a very straightforward structure when it comes to booking singers for our 4 showbands. If you book a band, we will do everything we can to book those singers in that video for the gig. If, for whatever reason a singer is unavailable, we bring in a singer from one of the other showbands.
We work as tight-knit collective of exclusively top class performers, that is a result of a months long vetting and rehearsal process. Anyone coming in to our line ups must be well-versed on the set lists and knows our medleys backwards. In the rare event we can't fill a spot in the line up, we have another line of reinforcements just in case of emergency, who are also at the top of the game and have all been 'gigging' with Soho Entertainment since its inception.

Laura has worked for years in the session singing industry and has had the privilege of working with a number of global popstars in her career. Having split her work between writing and singing backup vocals for major recording artists, she has worked with Craig David, Kelly Rowland, Misteeq & Sugababes.
She was 'Kiss - Unsigned Vocalist of the Year' and her album featured as 'Jazz FM Album of the Week'. Laura loves to sing gospel music with her gospel choir that she leads, which is perhaps where she gets those monstrous riffs from!

Joe is the founder and musical director of Soho Entertainment Ltd. and is extremely proud to present you with this wonderful line up of musicians.
Having graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, Joe has had a colourful career providing backing vocals for Elton John at the Roundhouse and London Palladium, playing opposite Alexandra Burke in 'Sister Act the Musical' appearing in Les Miserables on the West End as Feuilly/us Enjolras for a year. He is an experienced musical theatre performer but R&B is his home ground. Joe is also a professional saxophonist/DJ.

Grace trained at the London College of Contemporary Music. Specialising in Jazz and Neo-Soul music, Grace's smooth voice fits right in with the Soho sound. As one of Soho's act managers, Grace is one of the most prized members of the collective, also providing lead vocals for Skyline Jazz.
Having spent years honing her voice in various bands, Grace also spends a lot of her time passing on her gift as a singing teacher. She also performs with the London Garage Remixed Orchestra.

London born Cartell is joining the Soho Collective to bring his unbelievable silky vocals and infectious energy to the line up!
One of the main faces of the recently signed 'House Gospel Choir', Cartell has gone on to amazing heights performing alongside a huge array of talent including Beverley Knight and Vula from Basement Jaxx to name but a few.
Slotting into the Soho Collective was a piece of cake for Cartell as he already knew 90% of our huge set list!

It's not just the big belters that suit CJ to a tee, give him any R&B, Soul/Pop tune and he'll be all over it.
Also as one of the frontmen of House Gospel Choir, CJ has toured with many major artists performing amazing gigs and festivals around the country.

Believe it or not, Mawa was classically trained before branching out and finding her passion in singing soul, R&B and pop. She was in the top 15 singers on BBC's “I’d Do Anything” in their search for Nancy.
With 100s of gigs under her belt, Mawa has sang in soul bands around the country for years, as well as in her acoustic duo band, in fact she met our founder, Joe, 12 years ago in his first ever function band!

Eloise has been a solo vocalist on a Child’s Nursery Rhyme album, featured on a Pizza Hut Commercial, played Susan Parks in Billy Elliot The Musical on London’s West End for a year, performed as a solo vocalist for The Royal Masonic Variety Show twice at The Price Of Wales Theatre and The Prince Edward Theatre in London’s West End.
She performed as a solo vocalist at Twickenham’s Rugby Stadium and also as a solo vocalist for A Voice in A Million at Hull’s City Hall.

JAY

Jay is one of the nicest guys on the circuit and one of Soho City Collective's lead singers. Merging the sounds of RnB and neo-soul he creates his own unique sound.
Performing all over the U.K. Jay has shared the stage with the likes of Jools Holland, Shakka, Jacob Banks and Snarky Puppy in front of thousands in London, Liverpool and even gracing the stage of Glastonbury festival in 2017. Jay also produces his own original material releasing a number of E.Ps including his latest F.E.E.L.S.
KATY

Katy sings with Urban Voices Collective and has sung with the West End Gospel Choir; highlights include singing at ‘West End Live’ in Trafalgar Square, London Community Gospel Choir; performing at ‘The Brit Awards’ in January 2018 with Justin Timberlake.
Katy was also a Deputy in Whitney Queen of the Night, UK and European Tour as understudy Whitney Houston. Check out her incredible performance in the promo video of Soho City Collective.

Nate joined forces with internationally acclaimed jazz artist Julie Dexter alongside the likes of Wretch 32, Corrine Bailey Rae, The Feeling, Jaguar Skills, Beverly Knight, Jamie Cullum, Jessie J, Boy George and Tom Odell.
Nate performed and made it to the final six boys on ITV’s X Factor 2016 and followed that by performing on BBC’s Eurovision You decide in 2017. Early 2018 saw Nate join the new cast of the hit West End Musical understudying the roles of Berry Gordy, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. In the spring of 2019 Nate takes on the role of Simba in The Lion King in Paris.

With 100's of performances under her belt and over 500,000 views of her voice on YouTube , Keri is a very talented and special girl whose reputation as a singer is ever growing.
Keri Arrindell, singer songwriter and the girls finalist of X Factor Talent Show. She is celebrated for her soulful voice and excellent vocal range. Her background in Motown and soul adds a unique feeling to the jazz and swing repertoire. As well as performing for a living, Keri is a singer songwriter working with talented producers and co-writers; recording and releasing original tracks.

Another recognisable face - Danny won ITV's Grease is the Word and then went on to perform in the West End as Danny Zuko in Grease for many years before recently touring the UK as the leading role of Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever.
One of Soho's most polished all-round performers, Danny grew up dancing with a number of the Strictly Come Dancing professionals and so has been known to whack out of few shapes on the dancefloor!

One particular hallmark of Jaz's success would be his participation as a contestant on the renowned talent show “The Voice UK 2012”, where he performed a ground-breaking rendition of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’, stirring up a frenzy on social media.
Since then, Jaz has gone on to perform various gigs around the country, and has even opened for the legendary Lauryn Hill. He has also landed himself the opportunity to work with Will I Am on a project for NASA.

Aleysha hails from the renowned BRIT School where she honed her craft as a singer/songwriter and has been lucky enough to be performing ever since!
A passionate, soulful and versatile belter, coupled with a love of jazz, RnB and Motown, Aleysha has provided backing vocals for a plethora of stars including Leona Lewis, Mica Paris, Omar, Boy George and Russel Watson on stages such as The Royal Albert Hall, The Jazz Café and Glastonbury Festival. She also opened for the one and only Lauryn Hill!

KIRSTEN
Kirsten began her vocal journey singing in church and an early start in the West End production of Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as a child. She graduated from the London College of Music with a degree in Popular Music Performance in 2007. Kirsten has spent years as a backing vocalist and session singer working with artists like Tom Jones, The Feeling and Pharrell, and In various bands and choirs.
Kirsten’s soulful vocals are influenced by her love of Soul, Jazz and 90s RnB & Hip Hop. Outside of performing she has spent the last 15 years a singing and music teacher working in schools and with charity’s providing music education.

Effs began singing as a rebellion against his father's wish for him to play football, and his vocal tone has been dropping jaws ever since. It was in church that Effs honed his signature gospel runs and emotional vocal presence, joined with his love for Soul, RnB and Rap, Effs has grown into the soulful-pop artist he is today, performing on stage and in sessions, with various household names, both home and abroad. With an Official UK Dance chart #4 under his belt, national radio support and critically-acclaimed debut single 'Better Man' commanding attention, Effs is already beginning to make a name for himself!

Jenny is a singer/songwriter from London. In November 2015 Jenny sang alongside Fleur East for her BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge session, performing the singer’s hit song Sax and the Nick Jonas cover Levels. More recently, Jenny was a contestant on ITV’s The Voice UK 2020, as part of act So Diva. She was fortunate enough to be coached by both will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones, making it through to the Knockout stage. Soon after this, Jenny was very proud to be a backing vocalist for So Solid Crew’s “21 years of 21 Seconds” show at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, which took place on 13th March 2020.

As seen on the X Factor and the Voice as well as being mentored by music mogul Simon Cowell, Sean has shared the stage with Leona Lewis, Boyz II Men and Celine Dion was an invaluable experience for the soul singer. Sean performed on some of the biggest arena's in the UK such as The 02, Wembley, Birmingham NEC and many more.
Having amassed over 46,000 subscribers and accumulatively over 10 million views on his Youtube channel the Soul singer / Pianist has also built a very credible online following!

Since completing her training at the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology, Emma May has established herself as a professional vocalist.
Her smooth soulful vocals have led to her working as a backing vocalist for a number of high profile artists such as Imelda May, Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Lenny Henry, Stine Bramsen (Alphabeat) and contestants on the hit ITV show, The X Factor. Emma May has shared the stage with the legendary rock guitarist Jeff Beck, Bob Geldof, David Stewart (Eurythmics) and Ronnie Wood (The Rolling Stones).

Wallis is a upcoming originals artist that we have been proud to welcome to our ranks in 2019. She trained at the Brit School, and has since gone on to fabulous success working with some of the top industry bods.
From appearing on Sky One on 'Sing Ultimate A Capella' with her group 'Belt Up' and performing her own material on BBC Introducing... Wallis is an artist to look out for. When it comes to events, Wallis brings years of experience to the fold, and slotted right in to the Soho family straight away!

Cheeky, charming and charismatic are three words that come to mind when summing up singer-songwriter Jamie Johnson. He achieved nation-wide fame in 2014, reaching the grand final of the UK series of ‘The Voice’.
He was mentored by Kylie Minogue and has sung on stage with Justin Timberlake at the O2. “Soul in a bowl“

Not many artists are as well seasoned as Davy when it comes to getting a crowd going. With his huge repertoire, Davy plays keys and sings most nights of the week. You might catch him at his residency in the Piano Works in the heart of London town.
After studying at the Institute of Contemporary Music, Davy has gone on to sing and play all over the world in a number of the UK's top session bands.

Chloe is an absolute seasoned pro started her career training at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute. She has since performed internationally providing backing vocals at performances by Nicole Scherzinger, Cee Lo Green, Sinéad O’Connor, and on X Factor.
